Monumental Inscriptions
Monumental inscriptions or headstones can often prove to be useful sources of information to the genealogist. Basic details shown on the headstone may give simple information about the year of death or birth, although full dates and other details such as occupation may also appear. Larger stones may give other relationships within the family providing, sometimes, the only available source of that information.
